Nelson’s Nantahala Hideaway is nestled in the heart of the Nantahala forest at Topton, NC. The Snake 421 is also known as “The Best of the Snake,” and is a sample of some of the best of the combination of roads that make up the rides known collectively as “The Snake”. The series of roads that make up The Snake travels 112 miles and is a heavily traveled Motorcycle and Sport Car Ride. The Snake 421, aka The Best of the Snake, is a really nice 37 mile section of The Snake, offering 489 curves while crossing 3 mountains and traveling through one beautiful valley. It travels through Johnson County, Tennessee and Washington County, Virginia. It is considered by many as one of America’s favorite chartered Motorcycle and Sport Car Rides. This ride has something for everyone from new riders to experienced riders. This is a ride you will want to experience.

If you’re a lodging guest at the Fryemont during the spring, summer or fall, both daily meals are included in the price of your stay. The dining room is closed during the winter months.

The Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort is located at Deals Gap, North Carolina and is nestled deep in the Great Smoky Mountains on the NC/TN state line. We are also known to many as Deals Gap, the home of “The Dragon” or simply by the locals as “the Gap”. Our family-owned and run business opened November 2019. Located at 810 Tallulah Road Robbinsville, NC, we serve Italian fare like pizza, pasta and calzones. We took our inspiration from classic Italian cuisine and added creative twist to deliver a menu that is innovative and inviting.
Experience Italian fare with a Mexican twist, featuring our Cafe de Olla, a traditional Mexican coffee using a traditional earthen clay pot to give special flavor to our coffee. It is made with ground coffee, cinnamon and “Pilloncillo” (raw dark sugar). Enjoy our deliciously sweet, cinnamon-infused coffee that will surely tickle your taste buds.

In 2004, the addition of the Dragon’s Den Grill was added to the resort allowing 65 guests to sit, relax, and have a great meal. Four years later, the addition of the beer on tap was installed, so one can enjoy a cold beer with their meal if desired. Three TVs set on weather, news, & SPEED Networks are positioned around the Grill to keep you updated on current conditions & race day shouting at the tv. The grill is air conditioned for our hot summer days & heated for our cooler early spring and late fall travelers. We offer 6 speciality burgers (don’t worry regulars, you can still have our original Dragon burger too!), a daily deli, homemade desserts, & much more. We also offer window bar seating overlooking the parking lot and Wheelie hill, which are the best seats in the grill!! Come check it out!!
